It is very important to like the music you are listening to and you don’t have to force yourself to listen to the music you don’t like, as this will definitely not alleviate stress.</p>
<p>Music is a great healer and a significant mood-changer. The entire human energetic system is extremely influenced by sounds and the physical body responds to certain tones, rhythm or the beat of the music that have the calming effect on people.</p>
<p>Music was found to alleviate the pain during dental procedures; it reduces heart rates and promotes higher body temperature. Playing music while we are working is very effective, as it helps to reduce the stress.</p>
<p>Here are some tips on how to increase the effectiveness of the music:</p>
<p>1.	In order to relieve the stress, take a 20-minute “sound bath”. Put some slow calming music and lie in a comfortable position near the speakers.<br />
2.	As the music plays, focus on your breathing, letting it deepen and slow. Focus on the silence between the notes in the music, as it will help you relax completely.<br />
3.	If you need stimulation after a work day, choose a faster music instead of a relaxing one.<br />
4.	Go for a walk listening to your favorite music on the walkman. This is an effective exercise and great stress reliever.<br />
5.	You can also reduce stress by listening to the sounds of nature, such as ocean waves or the calm of a deep forest.</p>
