Prenatal Yoga
Prenatal yoga is a technique of staying fit and fine during pregnancy. It also helps the mother to stay in proper shape, preparing herself before giving birth and it also improves the circulation of the entire body during that time.
Breathing exercises are helpful as women get mental peace and relaxation with every breath that moves in and comes out. Ujjayi is the breathing technique recommended during pregnancy which helps in preparing the woman for the labor and subsequently the normal delivery of her child.
Prenatal yoga helps to reduce back aches especially related to the lower back which is generally found in pregnant women. It improves flexibility in the body. Yoga exercises help in treating most of the swelling which is there on the joints and also help to reduce the inflammation around them and also around the wrist and ankles.
It also helps in treating the problems related to indigestion found in pregnant women. Practicing yoga exercises, mothers become physically strong, helping them overcome all the complications that come in the way of the child’s birth.
